I've made up my mind on what wheels I'm getting. When it comes to tires and wheel sizes I'm a complete moron. So I need help choosing a 16 inch wheel size that will clear Z32 calipers. Please keep in mind that I don't mind using spacers but I also don't want the tires/rims hanging out from the fenders. These are what I want http://rotawheels.com/slipstream.php - in flat black-Thanks

that would be the way to go........if it was the right bolt pattern, get the 16x8 +40 and some 30mm spacers or around there

You'll need spacers. If your concerned about how the face will look, It will look funny. it will stick out.

like this. +40 offset on a car.( notice the HUMP on the face?) you get what I'm saying? I say you get a lower offset and size your tires right and you won't need spacers (maybe a small one) I say 16x8+20 is your best bet and your rim "face" will be flat or concaved and will look better.

the site does NOT give a listing for a 16x8 +20 in the correct bolt pattern

16 x 8.0 +20/+34/+40/+48 4h x 10016 x 8.0 +40/+45/+48 4h x 114.316 x 8.0 +48 5h x 10016 x 8.0 +48 5h x 114.3 but like s14tan said get the lowest offset possible

I know its not listed, that why I asked about the 16x8 +48.Will the +48 offset really throw off the look of the car?Could someone please post pics of an S13 with +48 offset wheels so I can see what they'll look like?

im not quite sure but i dont think +48 and an 8inch wheel will clear your stock suspension, or any aftermarket, again im not sure, but it would look like poo, WAY sunken, if your set on slipstreams i would get the +40's and some 20-30mm spacers

holy hell ashibah83, resize your effin sig

WesTnine9, to honestly answer your thread, I wouldn't buy them. Rota Slipstreams aren't meant for the 240sx (sizing wise). Unless you want to run thick spacers, I'd just skip the whole idea and go with something else in a much lower offset.

lol... I know this is gonna sound kinda far fetched since you did mention rotas...

but if you do really like that wheel scheme... you could search for desmond regamasters evo (the real deal ones, rota slipstream is a copy of them), they make sizes that are available for the 240sx.

just some food for thought haha

What would you recommend? I'd like a simple 5 or 6 spoke thats not flashy or has a chrome lip. I've been looking for rims for weeks now and havent seen anything reallymy style. But maybe you guys/gals can help me with that.-Thanks

well, the biggest thing to consider is your budget.

Im not intending to spend more than 1K on rims. But if I really like them I could be persuaded to spend more.

well, 5zigen Fn's can be had for under a grand and come in a whole lot of different sizes.

and... I'm not too possitive on the price on Enkie RPF1's, but search around with the sponsors here, I think they can be had for around a grand as well, and they come in several sizes to choose from

Thanks man.I've looked at the 5Zigens but cant find any 16x7(or 8) 5x114.3 with an offset less than +42.Would a +42 offset bulge?

This is where I found them the cheapest http://www.machiii.net/wheels/5zigen/FN01R-C.htm

Alright, after devoting most of my Sunday to wheel research I've stumbled across these in a 16X8 5-114.3 25http://www.discounttire.com/dt...BMCOM(they're plain and simple. Just what I'm looking for. Cheap too!) Will the 8inch and 25 offset clear suspension and/or Z brakes without an issue in front and rear?
