ok so I have a 91 hatch and I have been wanting to get rims for ever and now I finally have some money saved up for them and I have a bunch of questions about the tire sizes and if they will fit or not my car is lowered with some weird GAB damper ajustable springs its not that low maybe an inch or 2 lower than stock and I want to get the sportmax 962 17x7 in the front and 17x9 in the back with 215/40/17 in front and 225/45/17 in the back does anybody know if this will fit or not or if maybe I need to get a smaller wheel or spacers and if so what size I am open to any sugestions any help would be great thanks.

I've had the 962's from whent they were sport maxx and they have lasted me a hella long time and i beat the piss outta them. I recently baught the XXR rims (Same ones under a new name) and noticed that they beefed them up quite a bit! So I'm stoked about that. As for your rim/ width size's you should be right on. I have the same sizes I beleive lol. Been so long since i looked. But you should be 100% free and clear of any tire rub and problems. Enjoy those bad *** wheels man!

Not trying to be an *** but there's a wheel and tires forum. Just a hint for next time.

lol, it's funny how everyone bags on that rim company. when half of the other rims put out by other's dont even look half as good and cost 3 times as much. If i smoke the **** out of mine and they cost me 3 times less then yours that means i can buy 3 sets of them in the life span that yours last. that being said i dont QQ when I **** mine up cause I make enough money to support my spending habbit. So I fully support these wheels!

I have 962's also 17x7 front with 225/50/17 and 17x9 rear 255/45/17 I rolled the rear fenders and even cut a little of my front Tein S-Tech springs and i dont rub except in extreme situations it will a little bit in front. Now in the past i had the 17x9 in the front also....no go on that it rubbed too much for me.

DOOM out.

By "Rolling the fenders" we mean that they get flared out so the tire doesnt hit the wheel well. This soulds a little savage but the easiest way to do it if you need to is take a hammer and beat that lip on the back up flush with the inside of the well. if that doesnt help, take a pipe and angle it down with a portion of it inside the wheel well and pressure pushing down on the tire it self. have a buddy drive forwards or back wards slowly and you will see the well begin to flare out. you can see how its done here, check this out and yes its very effective! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DDTK9IjKIYU

Thanks for the vid and info I have another question you said you have the same sizes and everything as me I wanted to know what type of lug nut do I need to use I have heard I need to use a tuner lugs and how does the wheel lock thing work are those lugs to? Because I want to make sure no one can steal my rims and tires and do I need a spacer for the setup I want to use?

It would be a great idea to use a spacer ( i dont know the offset though). You can get tuner lugs from Autozone or what not. If your really picky you can get some GOOD ones off the some of our sponsors
