Hello, I need help with my water pump belt on my ka24de. I removed the old shredded one by removing the 4 10mm bolts holding the pulley. Now I can't put the new one on. Is there a tensioner I need to loosen inorder to put it on, if so which one is it? Your help is greatly appreciated. thanks

Think the water pump belt is connected to the power steering pump on the ka24de, which acts as the tensioner.

Try loosening the power steering pump pulley.

i thought the water pump belt was linked to the alternator. either way, follow the belt and it'll either be the alternator or the ps pump that'll need to be loosened to release the tension on that belt.

the water pump belt goes directly down to the crank pulley, so should I loosen the alternator or power steering because both has their own belt to the crank.

The belt is connected in line with the power steering pump. Put the pulley back on the water pump, then loosen the power steering pump and move it towards the engine to loosen and slide the belt on. Tighten the power steering pulley and tighten the bolts.
