So a few things. Got the VH running and pretty much drivable in my R32... but I have some issues.

1. Since the temp gauge on my dash no longer works, where is the best (see: easiest) place to put the probe for my aftermarket temp gauge?
2. It runs like s***. It is rough and rich. It idles on its own, revs up and drives as long as I don't push the pedal down too hard... if I do, it cuts out. It used to cut out over 2500 rpm (on my 6 cyl RB tach), but I adjusted the TPS and now I can rev it above "2500" rpm.
3.Pulled codes
12 - Mass Air Flow Sensor (sounds like the culprit of my issues? will find out today when a friend brings his VH MAF for me to test)
14 - Vehcile Speed Sensor (i am guessing part of the auto transmission that doesnt exist anymore?)
46 - Secondary Throttle Sensor (removed traction control)
54 - Signal Circuit from A/T Control Unit to ECM (no more auto trans).

As for my motor. with the swap I removed off of the motor:
- AAC
- EGR
- Traction control
- a mile of vacuum line / hose.
I capped off any open vacuum port on the intake plenum and throttle body. The car has new plugs, fuel filter.

Might want to get a rom burner and put a board on that ecu so you can turn some of the flags off.

Nistune Board will help with alot of these items first off.

I would say the MAF sensor is your main troubles try to bypass and see the result or get a working spare and test.

I'll get around to that. I just want to get it running right. I swapped a working maf in and it did nothing. Still ran rich as hell. Still missed. Still would only rev up slowly. Tested, and i can see the voltage in the signal wire from the maf go up when i rev it up. So I am lost for where to go from here.

I don't have another car to test the ECU in. NO ONE around here runs a Q45.. or has a VH in their car :p

pick up another ECU if you can. that might give you the same answer.

I have one I can lend you. just pay shipping both ways.
