I know how much everyone here loves SAFC's but my car came with one and i cant afford a standalone yet (i will get one once i have the money dont worry). So what actually happened was my car was running pretty good to ok, the af's at a warmed up idle were around 13-14.5, crusing was a little lower like high 12's-13.5. and under boost i was around 12-13. So last night i was just moving my safc to a different spot and then playing with the displays a little bit. Well i guess i did something (no having a clue as to what i was doing) and now my idle is around 14.75-15.1, crusing now jumps from 12-16, and under boost is 13-15.5. I know thats super lean. I took it too AMS performance today and they said i should be around 11-11.4 under full boost and that all i had to do for now was reset my safc to zeros or something like that. (I am going to have them dyno tune it in 3 weeks, but its 3 weeks because they are super busy). The guy that was helping me didnt know exactly how to do it on the controller that i had an the guys that did were too busy to help. So here is my question. Could anyone please tell me (like your talking to a three year old) exactly how i can make my car safe to drive. I wont really get on it too much until after i have them dyno tune it, but i atleast want to be able to have some fun. Also, what do you guys recommend as far as af's for those different conditions (idle, cruising, and boost)? All help will be greatly appreciated. I did search last night when i got back but most of the stuff was about inputs and i hate to admit this but thats over my head.

Specs on the car:Turbo gt28rss13 red top sr20det750 injectors i think but they are subi's so maybe 550, ill call my buddy who i bought the car from tonight and ask.full turbo back megan exhaustfreddy intake manifold cleaned up insidei want to say z32 maf but again i will check tonightfmic

thanks in advance, and please dont tell me how bad these things are and that i need to get a standalone or ecu tune because i already know and just have to deal with what i got until i get more money.

ya def ask em bro. I'd rather be hated on then having my car blown up. After reading that link and searching on my safc, found out that i somehow messed up a few of the % settings at 3000-4000 rpm on high throttle so thats what made everything suck. Before even messing with it i did a good pull and at 3000-4000 i had an af of 13.5 ish which is way way off, but as soon as 4500-5000 came around it dropped to 11.2 and then at around 6000-6500 when i let off it was 11.6 or something like that so way better. All i did was adjust the lower rpm high throttle settings and now everything is fine. I can still be running afs of 15 on low throttle cruising right? Thanks for all the help nico!

Get rid of the SAFC. It should not be used on a MAF car because the ECU uses the MAF Voltage to figure out how much timing and fuel to run. When you add or subtract a percent using the SAFC, it adds or subtracts fuel and timing which you dont want. Sell it and get a Emanage or Power FC.
