I am currently having a turbo kit installed on my 95 240sx SE. The problem is that the turbo and manifold are hitting the brake cylinder. I was wondering what I could try to fix this problem. The manifold is cast iron so modifying it isn't really an option. I am thinking about trying a brake cylinder from a s13, but I'm not quite sure if they are smaller or will even work. Apparently this manifold will work on an s13. So if there aren't any viable solutions I will just buy a new manifold. If that happens this manifold, which is an equal length, TIG welded, cast iron manifold will be for sale. Thanks for the help, Tarik

If the turbo and manifold are hitting the brake cylinder, I'd send the whole thing back....Where did you get this setup??

is ur manifold revhard?

how does it block? the brake cylinder metal line that blocks or the whole cylinder? do u hav an internal wastegate?

My brake cylinder metal lines was blocking too, but just at where the internal wastegate flange sits (its really thick), so i took off my internal wastegate and run external and problem solved, i hav enuff clearance.

The Nathan has NEVER seen one of these either. Are you talking about an IAP manifold? Its equal length and WILL have fitment problems if you use the wrong turbine housing (Garrett 4 bolt = wrong).

The manifold is a custom manifold that was made to fit an s13 and also an s14. While it fits on the s13 its not fitting on the s14(its about an inch to big). Also the turbo I am using is an internally wastegated garret t3. I think I'm just going to buy a jgs manifold and position the turbo where it will fit. Thanks for all the replies, Tarik

AFAIK the dimensions in the engine bay of an S13 and S14 are very similar. I doubt there would be an entire inch of difference to the Master Cylinder. It probably hits the S13 MC as well.
