03-017 FEB 03 Audio System - Left Side Speakers Inoperative
I have this problem on my 2002 SE anyone know what the fix is ??

Unfortunately, the fix is to replace the Bose HU.

There is a temporary fix for it.... Hit left side of the HU with your fist. NOt too hard but hard enough. I hit mine and it knocks the speakers back to workin. Just have tos how it who's its daddy is. NAh. i am doing this till my HU comes in. I got it replaced under warranty.

Yeah, good point. I only lose one channel when the CD is playing at times. A couple good bumps or a smack with the heel of my palm sets it straight
damn ... i was hoping for a quick and simple ... I'm out of warranty .. any ideas where to buy a new head unit ?? I'm sure they aren't cheap .. I'm about to Sell the Max so if you know any one looking for a 2002 SE 6sp let me know .. i can give a very good price .. I've put some buck in the body work and new tires so not as cheap as i paid for it but still fair i feel ..
