I want all four rear lights to be on when the lights are on (like the 2007 G35 sedans...)

How do I do it?

Also could I have both blink in unison for the turn signal?

Where are the electrical guys?

In theory you should be able to run the positives through both and negatives together, just be sure to sauder and tape accordingly...

I would check with someone though,,, I did the same thing with my spoiler so it would always be on, it worked fine.

Seems like it would just be a matter of soldering/splicing the wires from the outboard lights to the wires on the inboard lights. Easier said than done, of course, but not impossible. Just make sure you have plenty of slack so you do not stretch the wires and cause them to eventually break under tension/chaffing.

Good luck.

What about the turn signals? would they still function correctly?

I don't know if you looked really close but thoses lights on the coupe are not LED's... They are just regular bulbs

IMO that would look

The sedans have 05-06 have two circles and a non-LED blinker that is above it.

The 07+ sedans have two circles LED's. The inside of the outside Circle is where a regular bulb is used as a blinker

Theoretically - Assuming you disconnect the outboard light's wires from their original harness/connector and splice the power/ground wires correctly into the inboard lights, they will function the exact same as the lights they are wired to. Power will be sent in the same pattern as the inboard lights, making them function as if they were the same component.

Yes but do the inboard lights flash for the turn signal?? that's what I need to know. I have to keep the turn signal functional.

Well i know the LED's don't flash for the turn signal. so if you wired the trun signals with the same wires as the LED's I don't think they would work.

Im am not an electrical expert but I don't think you could run both positives it that light and make it work right.

the LEDs require less volts and with the two positives would have the light dim, and when the turn signal is turned off, it will go form dim to bright and back to dim.... not from off to bright and back off.

Well I plan on putting LED bulbs in the outer lights as I did with the rest of the car (front signals, interior etc.)

But yeah, I need to figure out how to do it. I was looking at the FSM but I was never very good at reading electrical diagrams.

I do not own a G35 so I was unaware that the outboard lights were the flashing lights, and the inboard were just steady. That makes it a bit more complicated, but not impossible. I am getting ready for work, I'll think about it and get back to you.

Splicing the wires into the circuit should make a parallel circuit, and voltage is equal across a parallel circuit. The only thing that might change is the current/amperage, of which I don't know what the outcome would be without knowing the specifics of the current circuit. It is possible.

Can't give an exact answer without seeing the wiring diagram for the lights, but all you may need is jumper wires from input power and ground of one light to the same on the other. That way they both function as one.

Are those outboard lights your turn signal lights only? I thought they were one of the lights that illuminated when you pressed on the brakes...

And when you say "both" blink in unison with turn signal, what two are you talking about? Just to clarify before I can figure out a way to do it...

What I was thinking was having both the inboard and outboard lights blink for the turn signal but it's not required..

The only way I can see it being feasible would be to add a relay into the system that is energized/deenergized as the flasher unit is activated/deactivated. Would require a decent amount of rewiring (10-12 wires). If you are interested still and think you are sufficiently electrically inclined, I could draw it out and send it to you. May not be worth it.

How did you do this with your spoiler LED's?What happens when you brake, what lights up?

The spoiler is different because it doesn't have another function other than to light up. So if you wire it like the brake lights it will be dim when the lights are on and when you hit the brakes it will be lit up bright!
