There are swap threads in the archives here, and it seems that every day someone asks the same question that just got answered. I'm sorry you have to be the one who catches this heat, but the threads go back a few years, and they aren't there for nothing. I want you and everyone else to search through these old archives on your own time, and then if your question(s) still aren't answered, then ask. You will get better responses that way.

ALL RIGHT

IF I DO THE LIST BELOW THAT IS WITH THE STOCK TRANS RIGHT???? BUT THE ONLY THING I FOUND WITH USING THE 240 TRANS IS THAT I NEED A CUSTOME DRIVE SHAFT BUT WILL IT BOLT RIGHT IN ????

ka24e truck mount brackets, oil pan, oil pickup, flywhell and pressure plateset both engines to tdc before removaluse your napz fan and clutch and engine shroud and drop the engine in.you may need to ut a crank alignment pin on the crank to fit the ka24 truck flywheel otherwise redrill the 240 flywheel to accept a truck bellhousing.before you install the oilpan u will need to trim the lower engine girdle but do so with rags in the engine openings to stop shavings.. use anmd andle grinder.. and inch should dothe dipstick will need to be drilled into the other unused dipstic location.. compare motors and see

these mods will allow the drop in.the engine will sit close to the heater core hoses on the pass side and you will have to plug a sensor at the rear of the intake manifold

Personally, IDK. I don't want to tell you something and have it turn out to be wrong.

IDK why you would need to set the engines at TDC for a swap unless you are opening them up somehow.

I have heard alot about the transmissions maybe having different shifter locations, but I havent seen firsthand.

Truck pan is rear sump, so yeah, you will need that. Maybe the naps-z would fit, IDK. Motor mounts will be needed, yes. Maybe you can modify the naps-z mounts for the ka24.

Search! This question has been answered 100's of times. And no it won't turn your truck into a driftmobile. In fact you won't have the low end torque you had with the original motor nor will you have the torque the truck KA has.
