As far as the coils go, I saw a post talking about stiffness. I'm gonna be running Megan track coils. what do i need to know about the stiffness and ride height?

Tie Rods. Is there anything special about the tie rods?

And Last the camber and toe of the car. I was told that it should be slightly off but i dont knwo what they mean. if it was me i would just make everything straight but i was told differ.

ANY HELP ON MY SETUP?

You really have alot to learn.

Just because Megans are stiff , doesnt make them , or K Sports any good.

Most drifters like to slam thier coils pretty low without buying the proper suspesnion parts to cure all the negative affects it causes.

Aftermarket tie rods are good because they replace your old ones and you get new bushings. Also , you can adjust your caster.

Do some much needed research on what alignment setting would be good for you.

But yea , you have hours upon hours of reading , research and seat time ahead of you if you ever want to figure things out for yourself.

Definately do some reasearch!

In the end your gonna have to adjust ur set-up to wat u like.

You will definately feel the difference with all your suspension pieces, start your set-up soft and gradually tighten it to where your comfortable.

ride height i wouldnt go too slammed, when i rode slammed it would eat away at my harness and i would always get stuck at full angle.

I agree that i will learn over time on my settings but should i start as soft as it goes first and leave the ride height at a stock level? What controls camber, toe and caster?

u dont need to worry about all that when just starting out leave it at regular height and just learn how to take a turn and learning how to transition also learning how to use your brakes((they are also a needed thing while drifting sometime u need to adjust while drifting))...

if i were u id try to set it up close to stock.. may sound pointless.. but u will learn more in a stock car than a modded one.. its that simple. cause if u dont know what the car does stock u wont know what difference your car makes modded. true all those flashy parts make u slide easier.. but that are actually hindering your learning.. basically IMO if u cant drift a stock or near stock car well.. u shouldnt be building one to drift. u can get into some bad situations with a car that is covering up your skill level.. i seen a few guys hit walls in powerful drift cars because they werent really in control of the car.. just riding it out. dont let me disencourage u man.. glad u could join up and are interested in it.. look me up sometime im just down the road in spartanburg.
