need help with stereo..please

i just bought an aftermarket radio and i want to install it myself to save some money, but i dont where to connect them (dont know what what the wires are on the harness?). so i was wondering if anyone has a wiring diagram that they can share? or can anyone tell me what the colors on the harness mean?

I ordered my head unit from Crutchfield, and they sent me a harness that was very easy to wire up. You could probably call them and tell them the receiver you are using, and they would sell you a harness and instructions. I think my harness was like $20?

That is probably going to be the easiest way, I've heard those Wal Mart kits are crap so I'd stay away from those.

my head unit acually came with a harness. my question is where do i connect the wires connected to the harness. wait, am i making any sense?

I would recommedn running all new wires. Power and speaker along with RCAs to the back just in case you decide to add an amplifier(s) later
