Need help with some odd noises.

Allright, Ive been driiving my car just fine for a while now. The other day when I crank the thing its just all.... meeeeeeerrrrrrr (slow mow style) then barely starts and it idels like ***.

I was like shiz WTF is up with that? so I let it idel for a few to charge the battery up alittle. It smooths out so I was like, lets take it for a cruse. I get outta the neiborhood and everything seems ok then I get up to 4k and all of a sudden it spudders and doesnt want to go like its getting just enough power to send fuel and spark but not enough when it gets into boost.

So I park it and am like, hum maby theres an issue with this batt. ITs hella hella old so i put it on the charger and it didnt take a charge at all.

I went out and snagged a new one and it fires up like a champ. Idols great and im like welp, guess it was just that crap battery. Then I go to take it out and im like, SWEET runs good... golden.

Then I hit my blinker and it makes this INTENSE rappid clicking noise. Ive heard it before but slower. The clicking is so fast that it allmost sounds like a buzzing. The BATTERY light on the dash is flickering just as fast as the sound. Thing is though it only did it as it actually flashed the light so i hit the blinker and its all "BEEEEZZZ" ............ "BEEEEZZZ" ............. "BEEEEZZZ"

I turn on the headlight and it does the insane clicking nonstop, turn them offf and its gone.

The sound sounds like its coming from the fuse box area next to my left foot.

So basically, what is this? what could cause this? how do I fix it? and could it be something bigger than just replacing a small item?

BTW, im not currently driving it like this cause idk if it will cause something else to go out.

Any help would be appreciated.

idk, maybe a fuse?

that is weird dude, i had that same bad idle prob, but my battery is fine, i replaces everything, (spark plugs, dizzy, oil change, filter, cleaned the maf, etc)............. interestingly i realized it happens when i have less than a fourth tank of gas.... i believe my fuel pump is going out but idk for sure

I checked all my fuses and they all look fine, they right ones are in the right spots.

The car is running fine now just that INSANE clicking noise. Its intense.

There are like 4 relay things (sorry im a retard when it comes to electrical) behind the fuse box, two black and I believe 2 green. Could these cause something like this?

when the car buzzes, put your hand on the relays to feel which one is clicking.

Do you have anything wired up in the car? like aftermarket things? Sounds like something maybe grounding out? Have you tried a volt meter when your blinker or headlights are on?

Figure out which relay is making the noise. You might have a short in the wiring and it's drawing alot of current from your car but not enough to blow the fuse.

I recently had a short on my right side blinker circuit. It was drawing about 40Amps on and off really fast but it would take SEVERAL seconds to blow the 10Amp fuse.

The 2 black can looking things behind your fusebox are circuit breakers, they should be fine.

If the same relay is making the loud noise when you turn on your headlights or blinker it might have something to do with your parking lights circuit... even though they are seperate circuits

Allright, thanks for the imput, ill check it out tomarow. I havnt really had time to play around with it.

I do have a boost gauge wired in and a fan switch so I think either one could be causeing some sorta short. Ill take appart the center consule and check it out.
