I feel stupid posting this thread but i need a little bit of guidance with setting the timing chain. This should not be hard to do but im just having a lot of trouble with it. I have read many forums here but I'm looking to see if anyone would have a some pics of how exactly the timing chains should be set. I've been having issues with timing on my car after doing a complete rebuild on my engine. I have lined up all the dots on the bottom end of the engine but having to tear the front cover is such a *itch to take off. I have the pic from jimwolftechnology.com but that helps some what but i would like a real example of the timing chain from top to bottom in the correct position. thanks for any help folks!

you should set your crank pully guide in between the second and third notch this should give you top dead center if your cams are in right then the notch(guides) one should be up and one should be off to the side meaning your intake side is going to open and your exhaust is closed then you reset your distributor to top dead center going by the guide on there and resetting the rotor button to the first cylinder
