need help with setreo deck

hey well im installing a sony stereo deck that i got..... well my problems are that its not getting power. Its only getting power from the always on power cable, but not the ignition power, and it keeps blowing out my fuse in the kick panel for the radio any help?

sounds like you have a short to ground in your acc wire. that will cause the fuse to blow.

Does it blow the fuse if you have the Sony radio unplugged?

i just installed a new deck yesterday.

make sure you are getting power from the +12 volt accessory wire (BLUE)

this is the main power input to the unit. it is active only when the ignition is in the ACC or ON position.

well i dont know what happen but it started working again... i took out the fuse put another one back in and it worked acc power on.. i didnt do much it just started working so dont really know what the problem was
