need help with s14 swap to s15 steering wheel

so the other day i tried to put an s15 steering wheel into my s14. i took out the s14 steering wheel out and tried to put the s15 wheel in did not fit because the clock spring will not match to the back of the s15 steering wheel. my question is do i remove the clock spring and how, i'm not sure what to do next. if anyone has an answer let me know thanks

This is strange. I did an S15 steering wheel swap to my S14 with zero problems. Air bag and horn all connected 100% perfect and the steering wheel lined up perfectly. It took about 20 minutes.
