hey so my friend has a s14 that had a blown rb 25 in it and all we did was swap in another rb25 now its all together and wont crank. i checked all the signals coming out of the ignition and they are working when they are supposed to. and there is no signal going to the starter. when we jump the starter it turns over but still wont fire. like something is telling it not to spark/fuel.

anybody have any ideas. we have checked all the fuses.

It sounds like it doesn't have the ignition wired up properly. If there's no power signal from the key switch, there isn't likely to be power to the ECU either so of course it won't run. Verify the ignition switch wiring first.

i have already checked the ignition switch. there is power going in, power going out when in acc and on, power going out when you turn to the momentary spot. we also checked the ecu for i dont remember the pins but they were starter signal and ignition signal. and they were both getting power. and the right voltage. where would i check after that? i mean this car started fine like 3 weeks ago... we didnt mess with any of the wiring while we did the engine swap. HELP
