Good day everyone! I'm new to the forum and also a newbie with cars. I want to learn all this and that about cars and I want to start with the rims. I want to change the rims of my 2007 Nissan versa (sedan), but I don't know if 17" will work in my car. Here's the 2 choices I'm thinking of:
1.http://www.wheelfire.com/scontent/Wheel ... n=STANDARD

2.http://www.wheelfire.com/scontent/Wheel ... n=STANDARD

Any help will be much appreciated and I'm hoping to learn from everyone :)

both of those would look good. 17" x 7" (or 7.5") fit great on the Versa. Just make sure the offset if not greater than +42, but those you linked to should be OK.

BTW, welcome to the forums.

Thanks for the reply, btw I don't need to do anything on my springs right? the factory installed should be fine? I saw alot of cuztomized versa with 17" with rigged springs.

If you go with the aftermarket wheels it just looks and performs better if you install a set of lowering springs. Otherwise it just doesn't look right (to me anyways).

Any estimate how much it will cost you over all if you lower the versa?

do you have any tools to do the work yourself? There are some good sets on the For Sale thread for ~ $130 + shipping. We have a tutorial video on doing the work.

I did some research about the offset and found out that the offset of this wheel (17x7) is 40 according to this websites:

my name is Frankie and i work in a tire shop that specializes in the purchase and installation of aftermarket wheels, i have an app on my work computer that can tell
me wether or not the wheels would fit ur offset, boltpattern, wat size hub rings and
even wat size tire to use so that u can stay as close to the factory rolling diameter as possible, my work number (203) 847-0345 ask for frankie and have ur car info and wheel info handy and i can give u an idea of wether or not they will fit, if they wont fit i can def point u in the direction of similar wheels that will fit.
