Need help with sizing the bulb on the right (the smaller one) and in the second picture the one in the back... the bigger one it is next to is the #74 for the dash lights and everything the one i'm looking for, the base is about 1mm smaller and the bulb itself is smaller as well. this bulb was taken out of the analog clock on above my AC vents in the center console.. i've been looking for the bulb size for a long time and couldn't find anything on it. The only writing that the bulb itself has says toshiba v-2 but the #74 has that as well... the guys down at napa couldn't figure out what bulb it was either so any help is appreciated.

Contacting the dealer will lead you no where. They only know the size of their own $18 lamp. On the superbright sight there are measurements, compare those to the bulb in your hand and you're set. I bought them a while back but can't remember which ones they are and for some reason I don't have any emails with the part #.

THIS. The dealer is completely useless when it comes to small bulbs/holders. They will always get the wrong one and it will just end in frustration.

looks like my ash tray bulb. dealer also was no help. I ended up just taking the bulb to the bulb section of the auto parts store and i found a random one that matched up and works fine.

Well i was just cleaning my desk out at work and i found a bulb that works

bulb 2723 works (but its brighter and hotter than stock)

I tried 2723 and didnt like how bright it was (if i had the ash tray open, it was distracting while driving)

and like i said, i went back to the store and found one the same size that works fine

Huh? Does the QX4 have a different ashtray than the Pathy? I've got a 74-W LED in mine and it fits fine.

(sorry for terrible picture; I've since replaced the shifter LED with a brighter, more even one, but the ashtray bulb is the same LED)
