need help with rear end problem

I am new to this site. i am having a lot of problems with my 240. it is an 89, 5 speed. I think i might have an axle problem , but i could be completely wrong. two things happen, which might not even be related. First when i am in first or second gear and make a sharp turn it seems that one of my back tires skips. like it locks up on me. also when i am in a low gear and try to accelerate fast it again feels like one of my tires locks up and holds my car back. any help would be greatly appreciated.~Missy~

I had posted this in the technical section and later found out i should put it here. someone replied to me and told me to check the fluid in the rear. i did this and it seemed fine. there was plenty of fluid and there didn't seem to be anything wrong with it.

To me it sounds like a limited slip diff. on the sharp turn issue but when going straight ahaead it sounds like a dragging brake issue. If its the latter check your e-brake adjustment.
