My drive crashed on my laptop and so I had to re-initialize OBD-scantech after reinstalling Windows. The problem is that it will recognize what port I'm on but when I go to the live data section, all I get is N/A and then I get an error. I can't remember what it is. I have the ECU talk usb cable and I'm running Windows XP sp3. I can run ECU talk version 1.3.5 (I think) fine so I know the cable is good and my computer can talk with the ECU.

I ended up uninstalling and re-installing obdscantech and copied the 3 files for version 1.51 to the scantech directory and ran it. It will now run but when I select power balance, I get the following error....

run-time error '339':
Component 'RICHTX32.OCX' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid

Anybody have any ideas about the error code above? I installed it per the directions.

Well.... No one had an answer so I did some more digging and found the answer. Here is a link for those who may find themselves in the same predicament as I was in. Follow the directions and you should be set.
