get some real cams, 260's or better. You don't have alot of low end TQ so look higer in the power band to make your power. I also hope you got a bigger turbo because that stock one sucks really bad.

Are these parts you have or parts you want to get...

I wouldn't go thicker than stock... you're at 8.5:1... no need... well how much did you get the block and head decked?

CarlH ran the 260's on stock valve springs. If your going to rev to 8k might be a good idea for peace of mind.

the thicker the HG the LOWER your CR is going to be.

The lower your CR is the worse off boost power is going to be, plus booost will take longer to kick in.

Depending on how much the head/block were decked...

You would need stronger springs if you upped your lift... I'm not going to say if you will float due to revs, but I will let you know when my 270's go in my motor that have a little more lift than you were looking at 8.8mm lift (Tomei Pro non lash type still sitting on the shelf waiting for my motor to be pulled to do some other work on it... which is waiting on me to finish the drywall in my garage... anyway)

If your head and deck have not been decked run the 1.2, If they have then you will have to ask the machine shop how much they took off so you can size your headgasket to keep the factory cr
