Need help with QX4 windshield washer motor

Hi All,

My front windshield washer motor on my 2002 QX4 is not working. Does anyone have a tutorial on how to repair/replace this? Also, where is the location of the washer and the fuse (can't seem to find either of these)? Would appreciate any help or suggestions. Thanks!

Check both fuse boxes. The one by your left knee in the dash and the one by the battery under the hood. If the fuse is good its the motor and thats located in front of your passenger front tire. There are 2 of them. One for the front window and one for the rear. Have a buddy press the rear window squirter button to see which one is the front/rear. You'll have to remove the fender lining to access the washer fluid tank.

I checked both fuse boxes. Neither has a fuse that is marked washer pump (or anyting close to that). Any idea what the fuse would be named?

Also, will I need to remove the tire in order to remove the fender lining?

It should be in fuse block J/B which is the block by your left knee in the dash. Fuse number 19 20amp. But your wipers are ran off the same fuse according to the wiring schematic so most likely its going to be your washer motor. And you dont have to remove the wheel but it makes it easier. Id still check that fuse though. Should be a yellow fuse.
