need help with pulley install asap

All things Altima Coupe.

exactly what is the procedure to get the tension off the tension pulley and line up the two holes, following the dyi but
i cant seem to move the tension pulley, it wont budge please help

bump.

do i have to lossen the bolt on the tension pulley before i can move the tension pulley out of the way?
any input will be greatly appreciated

if you have the proper tools you should be able to loosen up the belt by the passenger side. loosen up the bolt first and from there follow the instructions on the paper (assuming you bought the pulley from stillen)

yeah i got it from stillen, and which bolt are you talking about, the bolt that is attached to the crank pulley, or the bolt on the self tensioner

(ill make myself clear lol) first loosen up the tension pulley but dont unbolt it all off. it should be able to go upwards and the belt should come right off easily. then loosen up the crank pulley. the bolt should come right off and it should have a little bit of oil on the end of the bolt. from there, place the stillen pulley in placeand put the bolt back on. and from there it should be easy

thanks for the quick responses, im so frustrated right now lol

but ye so i loosened the bolt on the tension pulley but the tension pully still wont move at all, any tips on how much i have to loosen it? (im just scared the completely take it off)

it is the smaller on to the left of the crank pulley in this picture right?

(its been a while since i did my pulley) but that i remember, it should be the small pulley to the right.
