here's my problem... I just installed a power fc computer on my car (240sx with rb25det) and it doesn't save the new settings that we're trying to load. I checked all the power source of the computer, switched and unswitched and they're all good. The car runs on the PFC's base map right now. It lets me change the settings when its running but once I turn the car off, it resets everything.

Any info is greatly appreciated...Thanks in advance!

I hate to say it but search and you will find what your looking for. It has to do with your ECU's power. Look at the pinouts and put a test light on the right pin (with the PFC off the harness).

if i remember right, you need to find a constant power source for the ECU. something like that. haha. i briefly remember reading about that.

Thanks! maybe i just didn't search good enough. I already tried the test light and tested the switched and unswitched pin and they're all fine. Maybe I'll test it again just to double check.. Thanks again!

I searched for about 20 minutes, and couldn't find an answer to this problem- which I share to the T. Allusions were made to it being a wiring problem, and something about ignition power where there should be constant power.

I've gone over my ECU pinout and tested the wires, and I have constant 12V where it says I should, and switched power where it supposedly belongs. Could some benevolant and knowledgable individual enlighten us with a more thorough explanation?

Thanks! very big help... I actually sent it back to Apex USA for testing. If there's nothing wrong, I have a feeling its the eccs wiring. Thank you very much again! very appreciated.
