Budget? Don't forget $$ for install or you can DIYWhat kind of music do you bump? What is more important loud bass vs sound quality?

I do not have much experience with panasonic HU, but the few people I knew who had a panasonic deck had to replace them after a year or so because the cd players stop working. I do not know anything about the particular unit you are considering.

In the end you should go to audio shops and listen to as many products as possible.

Yeah, budget would be nice to know. Also, you've picked these things out, but have you purchased yet? I'm hesitant to recommend that head unit as I think there might be a few better ones out there around that price range. Where were you planning on buying it from? Also, where were you planning on getting the subs? We might be able to get you into a few better things if we know where you might be looking to shop and how much to spend. Throw out a bit more info and I'll see what I can help with.

im looking to spend around 1000-1200(+ 300-350 for installation) . im gonna most likely purchase all of it from sonicelectronix.com.

and no i havent bought anything yet its probably going to be about 2 months untill i can buy anything.

i also have a question about the subs. the kicker CVR104 is 4 ohms and the kicker CVR102 is 2 ohms. whats the difference? they are the same price so i was just wondering

Ok, is the 1-1.2k for HU, speakers, subs and amps? Also, you can save that 300-350 and install yourself. A lot of people are afraid to take this on, but if you ask anyone who has installed a system before, it's quite easy. I would highly recommend doing it yourself. There are plenty of resources on these boards to guide you through an install. Plus, any of us here would be more than willing to give advice if you get stuck.

Let me see if I can find any deals anywhere on some stuff that would fit your budget. Since you've got 1-2 months, it might be able to find some sweet products at good prices...

Cheap amps.....

Sub amphttp://www.cadencestore.com/Pr...t=478

Front stagehttp://www.cadencestore.com/Pr...t=479

The scoop on why they are cheap.....

If I didn't have amps already, I would buy these. For your budget, power is power. You just need amps that are reliable. Cheaper budget amps leave more $$$$ for your front stage speakers.
