i had a question, well soon im going to buy some sportmax rims for my 1990 240sx hatchback i was thinking about getting some 18x9.5 for the back and 18x8.5 for the front but im confused with the offsets. which offset will clear the z breaks? I also want somewhat of a lip maybe like a 3inch on back and 2 1/2 on the front. please help

i think +35 would clear it but not quite sure. the less the offset the better for the 240. you might need to roll your fenders

anyways theres a topic on just offset. search and you'll find especially the sportmax wheels

You want to stick with something around a +12 for the front and a +20 on the rear. The staggered sizes will fit very nicely, however you might need to roll the fenders. oh and thats a pretty aggressive fitment, but will look really nice if you can roll the fenders
