Need help with noise.

Hello to all on the forums, I'm new, have a 2007 M45 Sport and just wanted to say hi and get some help with an issue.

I need some help with a noise the car is making that the deal, typically, has been unable to assist with.

The issue is in low gear when I get on the car there is a grinding/grating like noise and some times I feel like I am not making - I let up and do it again and away I go.

Kind of reminds me of the sound and feeling I had in my 03 Cobra if I tried to gun in while not moving fast enough for the higher gear I was in. Example - if you were in 5th doing 30 and hit it without shifting. The transmission would tell you about it.

In this case I have an automatic, but the noise sounds the same and the lack of power. I fell like letting up allows the car to shift where ever and then bam I am fine.

The dealer heard it, but couldn't find anything wrong and says since I don't get a light saying the transmission is in alarm they aren't sure.

I can do this in manual or auto mode. When the car doesn't do it shes like a rocket and away we go. I say it happens at least 30% of the time and its a daily thing, not some rare occurrence.

Anyone have any ideas? I am trying to search on this here, but I am not sure how to word this - so forgive me if its a repeat question.
