Hey guys, so as you may have saw i just bought a zenki. I have a couple problems, first there's a knock in the rear end, which we figured out was my rear sub-frame bushings. But the shop said i cant get them separately, and i would need to order the whole sub-frame from japan so I was wondering where i might be able to get those, maybe a parts car, or has anyone seen sub-frame bushings around?

Second is a rattle in the engine when it's cold/ low rpm's, when I got it inspected the BCAA guy said it's likely due to timing chain wear, but the american motor head at my buddy's shop said the timing chain would last up to 300k becuase it's japanese , so what do you think?

And yea I need new front strut rods so i'm guessing just get them from pick-a-part or a parts car, anyways, thanks.

cheers

yes u can buy subframe bushings look here ----------> at sponsers, major PITA to put them in.

wtf is a strut rod, theres no such thing, please find out the correct name, you may mean tension rod?

the rattle is the upper timing chain, take off the valve cover and there will be a metal plate in front of the motor, if its not already broken off, take the 2 tens out, pull it out, toss it over shoulder and never look back. also replace the gasket while ur in there and make sure u rtv the corners.
