Yesterday I removed my battery to charge it. But I forgot about the tune. The car runs good, just not like it did when I 1st got the car.
So I was wondering who is the king of tuneing on here and can you help me out. I will send you all the info. I can send it over p.m and I also have my dyno sheets if that will help

Stupid iPad I hope you guy can understand what I typed

I cant even understand what the hell your asking....

It might help if you listed what management software your using.

I think your asking that if you unplug your battery, will your standalone loose its tune? No

What ^ he said, give us a little more info on what you are using to tune with. I will say that any stand alone, tuned stock ecu, or piggy back system will not loose its maps if you unhook the battery.

However if it is a tuned stock ecu, and depending on how long the battery was disconnected, it will loose the fuel/ignition trim tables that the ecu learns and builds on its own over time. It may take it a little bit to relearn and rebuild the fuel and ignition trim tables, so you need to drive it(don't be gentle) and keep an eye on your wideband 02 readings to make sure they don't get to an unsafe level.

Ok looks like I was a bit twisted when I typed this.
So I removed my Battery in my car 95 240sx sr20det
I charged it and I think when I refit my battery I lost my tune/settings
I have a AFC neo by apexi
And it seems all the settings are reset. Idk if the tune saves it self and I just need to reboot it to get my settings back or do I have to retune it on a dyno..?
I hope this helps

Under wot (wide open throttle) anything leaner(higher number) than a 11.8-12 should give cause for concern, anything richer(lower number) than 10.5-10.8 will start to wash the oil off the cylinder walls, and richer than 10.5 and it will probably start to miss.

Rs enthalpy is a rom tune just like the Jim Wolf tune, and they are both about the same in terms of performance. But whatever you do throw that damn afc in the trash where it belongs.

Also what is done to the car to require tuning?

why is the OP avoiding the main question???
Also what is done to the car to require tuning?
do you really have a SR20 engine, as stated on your car list?

SR20 ~ what???

sure, piggyback isn't a real tune, but you'll need to know what's on your engine bay

& goto the engine forums for some help

start with the following and do some research

engine-tuning-f1214.html

or just take it to the garage/tuner with a dyno machine
