Im new and was told this was the place to go for help with my skyline. Ive got a 90 gtst and ive done a rb25 swap into it. Its got 450 injectors, greddy intake, q45 throttlebody, 60-1 turbo, afc, and boost controler, with factory ecu.. When we went to the dyno the car made 4 great pulls ending with 467 rwhp, and 370 torque. When we went to tune with afc there was a dead spot from 4800 to 5600 and than the hp just shot right up. The car did the same thing when we first got started and to find out the vtc solinoid was not working, but now it is. Ive been told that the factory ecu is doing this, but dont understand why we had 4 great pulls, and now its doing this.. It feels like its related to the tps. It will start to pull and take a quick crap and than hit. And than it will do it again and again.. . I know it is hard to picture this but picture a dyno graph climbing to 4500 and making 250 to 275 hp and than holding for 1000 to 1300 and than shooting stright up to 460hp @6200. I could really use some help, and thanks and im glade to be a part of your famliy

That's quite a combo to be tuning with an AFC. You might want to think about getting serious with your fuel control.

This is what im starting with. When theres more $$$ il finish what ive started. Ive really got to find the problem that ive got, which i think is something minor.. If you can think of anything, or anyone else can id really appreciate the help.. Ive got to get the $ to get the 555 injectors and get the ecm done.. Were looking for bout 530 to 560 @ rear and that should be very able , and shouldnt be to hard on the motor.

You should call him, he's in japan, and I bet the call rates are cheaper from the US to Japan, compared to call rates from Japan to the US...
