Wow, that's a lot of mouth-music to grok there, frood.

Are you trying to say that you have a '92 hatchback with an SR20DET (blacktop) motor in it? Or does it have the KA24DE from a 95 240SX in it?

I apologize if you have pics that would answer my question--they don't show up for me at work.

punctuation is all there but there are no spaces after sentences. i got a headache reading it.

if you have a 95 ka motor in there i dont see what would make you run rich if it was running before you blew the HG.

i have a 95 head in my 93, and that is basically the only difference you would see in the car since you would retain the manifolds and everything else from the s13...

can you post pics of the motor (specifically the whole valve cover) and describe your problems a little more?

Don't forget the distributor and the temp sensor.

sry bout all of that.i was in a rush.i dont have a computer so i only use it at my friends place.i have a 95 ka in my car.my car is a 92 240hb.

so i want to no if ther is any mods i need to make it work.cuz there is nothing i can do bout the engine i found the car like this.the previous owner ****ed everything up and im fixing their mistakes.

my problems are im running realy rich and im not sure why.i barly got the car started again after changing the headgasket(blew cuz the previous owner reused factory strech bolts).so i had a timeing issue before but i got a timing light and fixed it.than i didnt drive it anymore after i fixed it and the next day after driveing it for a while it felt like the timing was off again and i wasnt getting any power and i was running rich.

it smooths out after i keep a steady pace on the throttle and i get some power back after 3500.

oh and it misses during idel and when ever im below 3000 higher than that i either cant feel it or its not happening

Sounds like your car is missing, not running rich. Then again I seldom read with great detail posts that have horrible coherence.

okay that gives me a better idea of what is going on!

check your cylinders to see which ones arent firing by pulling the plug wires one at a time while the engine is running. if idle gets worse, that cyl is good. if the idle doesnt change, that cylinder is not getting fuel, spark, or compression.

Start by checking your spark plugs. If the tips are really dirty you should start by replacing those. Next I'd check compression (Vatozone usually has a tool for this) next I'd check the distributor and replace if necessary. Last but not least I'd check the resistance on the injectors. I hate multimeters and wires so that is why this is last.

If this was running ok before the gasket change it should now if all was done right. It sounds like maybe the timing is off, maybe one or two teeth at the cam sprockets......just an idea
