need help with my s13

I have an automatic 93 hatch i know 5 speed is the way to go but i drive a semi at work so i dont want to drive home in a manual ya know. Well i want to turbo the ka thats in it but i still want to keep it an auto and i was wondering if i would be going through transmissions like crazy or is there something else i can do. Ive been reading posts about it and some people say ur ok up 300hp and some say if u turbo a ka ur gonna burn up transmissions every few months. If i really have to ill have a 5 speed swap done but i would really like to avoid that. I was also wondering if it would be necessary to upgrade to larger brakes if i were to turbo the ka. I dont think ill ever take my 240 to the track but i do like to drive fast. I already bought the ichiba 5 lug conversion kit its just not installed yet so it should make a brake upgrade easier i think. Sorry for all the questions im so not a mechanic.

As long as the transmission is in good shape and you don't go crazy on the boost you should be fine.There are plenty of cars with autos that are boosted.I say yes to brake upgrades whether boosted or not.

Get a custom built bell housing to fit a turbo400 transmission.And then you can enjoy the ability to pull wheelies and attract a lot of women.
