I recentlly became owner of a 1989 240sx fastback. Since owning i have found a 92 J30 rear diff. Now the J30 has the abs sensor and the spread bolt pattern on it. i was wondering if i can use this diff. by using J30 axles and having my drive shaft shortened. Or, if i need to just swap the LSD into my stock rear end, use the J30 rear diff. cover and buy 95 240sx lsd output shafts.

PLEASE HELP!!

I have searched and found that all i have to do i swap the diff cover and i can use the J30 axles and use my original drive shaft(just have to slide it into the transmission alittle farther). thanx for the info. but i still have a question: Everyone talks about how the 94+ J30 diff is a VLSD but what about the 92-93's? Are they viscous or what?
