I have a 2010 Altima Coupe V6 with the Bose and the digital thermostat
Does anyone have any ideas on why my rear window defroster wire are not working? The whole thing is not working.

The light is on, when you press the button. I hear a click when the button is pressed. The fuses are good. I haven't checked the voltage at the rear window.. the wire appear connected to the window..

Anyone have ideas?

I was thinking of replacing the relay 25230-79942 but not sure where its at?

Hmm, you could check to see it is receiving power, and make sure there's no breaks in the lines. As for the relay, while I don't know it's location, I can offer the second best suggestion. If you look at my signature line you'll find a link for all the FSM's NICOclub provides free for it's members. Shouldn't be too hard to locate it using the FSM.

Do you know where i can find a drawing of how the wiring is routes on the car? I want to check all of the connections.. i wonder if something came undone when i had a spoiler installed. I bought the car used so i dont know if it was working before or not? I also. Think the left side.of the car may have been in an accident so i also winder if the wire got severed or something..

What is this condenser i see on the oem def-45 document for troubleshooting

so I was finally able to dive into this a little more..

I removed both interior trim panels up by the rear window. there is voltage getting to the back window. I can see it turning on and off with my DMM.
On the drivers side glass there is a 12-14awg wire attached to the glass of the rear defroster wires. On the passenger side glass there are three wires attached to the glass. There are 2 connectors that are really close to one another and I have a feeling someone swapped the connectors. Towards the top there is a heavy gauge wire attached to the glass that appears to be the antenna. Right below it is a thin 24awg wire blue attached to the other end of the rear defogger wires. these are the 2 I think are swapped. Why wouldn't the heavy gauge wire be attached to the rear defogger wires? Can anyone provide a picture of how there is hooked up? When I removed the top wire I noticed the metal on the glass had a blue dot on it. like the blue wire plugs into it.. I have yet to just try swapping them in fear opf blowing out the radio or something. but I really think these wires are in wrong..

Can anyone with a coupe confirm how theres is hooked up?

Have you looked in the FSM yet?

http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/Altima/2010/DEF.pdf

See page DEF- 6

Did you ever check the resistance/continunity of the wire in the glass?

The wiring description is also in there.

Good luck

I didn't see the wiring description for the rear glass.

I checked the resistance was 10.8 ohms

I swapped the wires and nothing blew so that's a good sign. Guess ill have to wait and see if it works.

The only other thing I can see it being is something called a condenser that's near the rear glass.

Did you carefully read pages DEF- 6 to DEF-17?

You need to follow the troubleshooting steps in the FSM.

Good luck

Anyone willing to look at their wiring by removing the panel?
