Need help with my manual transmission!

I have a 1993 240sx but whenever i put it into gear and try to drive the engine just revs up like its in neutral and I can't go anywhere. Also I am leaking a fluid that looks like it is oil based. Any Ideas??

since you can put it into gear your clutch master and slave cylinders are probably working, but for a quick check you can just visually inspect the clutch fluid level. if it is below the min line look for leaks.

you probably just need a new clutch though, combination of worn out friction disc and pressure plate not supplyling enough clamping force. the fluid leak may or may not be related but while you put your new clutch in put in a new rear main seal. oil leaking out the rear main will contaminate the friction disc and cause clutch slippage.
