need help with my KA!

My buddy scott has went KA-T with his 92 trunk style, before he bolted the turbo kit on he took a bunch of smog stuff and the clutch fan off. just wondering if I could get some help on how to do that??

This info abounds on these boards. As far as the fan.. its as simple as unbolting the fan and the clutch.. and using electric fans with a temp sensor. If you have an s13 there is even a plug down under yuor battery tray if you look close. its a plug for electric fans... that you can wire to grab power off of..

good stuff thekage i myself want to do an efan setup, i have a 93, now that is an s13 right, too many times have i heard that s13 stops at 92 (huh) doesn't make any sense to me, but i still don't know for surecan you tell me exactly what the s13 model years are?thanks

mmm, s13's are 89-94. it changes with the body styles.

I just want to get all of the smog cont. stuff off, take out the butterflys out of the intake man. and do the fan swap, do you think a Dual ele. fan or just a large single?? Yep ^ he is right, the S13 89-94 and then the S14 like mine with the bubble lights is 95-96 and the slant eyes is the 97+? correct me if Im wrong but im pretty sure thats how it is?

89-90 = Pignose S13, with the KA24E.91-93 = KA24DE94 = Only convertibles were made.

Yes, '95 and '96 had the bubble eyes, and '97 and '98 have the slant eyes.
