Hello, i have this issue with my G...i have a 2003 G35 coupe, and whats been happening is at atound 40ish miles and hour the rear end was making this hard winding sound and the power was drastically reduced, i was told it was the bearing in the rear so i got those changed along with the rotors and brakes 2 days ago...wasnt driving it much since the new parts were put in but the times i drove it seemed ok...but today i actually drove it alittle hard and its not as harsh but i still feel abit of reduction in power and i still feel the sound, although not so loud, in the cabin still...any idea what that could all be?....i know this is the place to get the answers i need

:welcome: to NICO! Have you checked the differential oil level / condition? A friend's '05 G sedan sounds like a Cessna is following it... I'm kind of waiting for whatever it is to burn up so that I'll know what was causing it :D

Transmission? I just replaced mine, and the new one shifts wicked hard. Here is the thing, they gave me a 2018 QX50 as a loaner while my 2006 G35x was being repaired. That new car was nice, but shifted the same way. To me, I would think after time it will wear itself down. A lot my cars died on trannies, Volvo 960, Honda Odyssey, Honda Accord, Infiniti G35x, Chevy C30, Pathfinder pile of human dung.
