Yeah, air those tires down by 10psi. You want them nice and wrinkly. I did see however, that some magazine did a test on this and it does indeed take away from your trap speed. So there is a trade off.

What RPM are you launching from? I agree, your car seems to get off the line a bit slow. 11.2 @ 226km/h, when that other dude made a 10.85 with a trap speed almost 20km/h slower.

See how the Volvo lurches forward out of the box though? Dude was launching the hell out of it. He also has a lot less pressure in his slicks.

I few things:

1. I see is your rear chasis bouncing throughout your run (need to settle that).

2. You are engaging your clutch waay too fast for the amount of power your car is producing. You try slipping it a bit to keep your engine at it's sweet spot or else you bog. I can't tell if that's your engine bouncing off the 2-step, but maybe you should try launching the car without it if it is indeed your car.

3. You shift kind of slow. Your car is making enough power to make up the distance, but you should really work on precise shifting and clutch timing to accomodate your shifting as well.

In conclusion, the car looks good, no doubt it has the power, but pay attention to the areas I mentioned. Oh yeah, more practice helps too. Being an every blue moon drag racer equals you will be needing to work on a bunch of things. Practice makes you better. A fast car is only as good as the person as the driver that's driving it, so work on controlling your fast car..

theres gotta be a way to slip it, i could slip my spec unsprung on my SR and i got a 1.62 60' on that car with only 352whp. Keep practicing, let the clutch out slower and slower, try running the slicks at about 8psi, see if it helps, maybe check the manufacture minimum tire pressure first before going that low tho.

Another thing i would consider is unhook your front sway bar, or remove it completely, that will help with weight transfer, altho the car will drive more sloppy in turns on the street, and also, as you mentioned you may be running too stiff of a spring.

I guess much of what ive said echoes dee's statement, but now 2 people have said similar things.

you need to take out the rear coilovers and put some stock springs and struts in there. or get some 90/10 shocks to get that weight transfer to the back and get the front to lift. but to do that you might have to go a tyre that isnt so tall. and dont for get that you will be getting about 4psi extra tyre pressure after the burnout. try 7-9 psi and bigger burnouts to get some heat into the rears. and tell the people to prep the track to at least half track as it looks like a airport and would be slippery as all fu(k
