Need Help With My 240sx

My 1990 240sx hb has problems lol. I can drive it but in every gear it wont go over 2500 rpm? So does it have a govern that might have been messed up or what i have no idea?

You need to check the wiring on or replace your air flow sensor.

Its the thing on the left side of your air filter box.

when i first got it i could drive it just fine but the exzaust mainfold had a leak i fixed it and now i have all these problems

Nope it's called limp home mode, and Nissan put it into the factory program, dollars to doughnut holes it's a bad MAF, but I believe the TPS can do that too, but I am to lazy to look in the FSM right now.

A completely bad TPS will hold your idle higher than normal and will make the engine die every once in a while if you stomp on it. You will also burn through alot of oxygen sensors.

This IS NOT bculps' problem as far as I see it.That is, of course, unless bculps left out something...

holy **** 10 dollars is all it took to fix it all new fueses and some crosion cleaner for the sensors and it runs beautifuly
