I know this might be a repeat question and im sorry for that but i can't find what im looking for. I think my maf went out. I read some where that you guys have used the cobra mafs. If I go this way what all would I have to change. Will i have to chip it to accept the new readings or what. Oh yeah does anyone know the oem part number of the maf. i have a 91 fastback. the only reason is that it seems like someone did thier own mods on the wire harness at the maf sensor. The maf i have has 3 prong comeing out of it but only 3 plug in. also does yours have an external ground wire. the ground wire is what looks to be what the other person did. it doesnt matter cuz it worked before but if its not right then i want to change it. If you could help me out thanks guys.

could you provide a pic of the MAF? sounds like you have a SOHC (3 wire) maf and not the DOHC (4 wire) maf

Cobra MAF is not a direct plug in, you need a JWT turbo program with 50lb injectors to run one...

And before someone asks, no, an AFC cannot make it work. The voltage curve isn't programmed in there, unlike the Z32, RB, etc...
