You're not screwed. This is a deal I see daily. The only problem with telling people how to do this is letting people know how easy it is to do this, but then again, no wheel theif doesn't already know how to do this.
The shop you take the car to will hammer a socket over the lock and use an air gun to zip it off. If a socket doesn't work, an air chisel will work, but that can do more damage to your wheel.
Another poster mentioned JB weld. That is commonplace among wheel thefts nowdays. JB weld into the socket, apply the socket to the lock, come back later when JB weld is hardened and off comes the lock.
People lose their wheel lock keys every day. Most people when you ask them, don't even know they have wheel locks or a wheel lock key.
