Hello everyone. I'm new to this forum. I drive a 2005 G35X Infiniti and LOVE it! I recently put a new battery in my key fob and now I can't get the two pieces to fit back together. I know it should be a simple procedure and I feel embarrassed to even ask this question. How do I get the fob back together??? Probably will have to take it to the Nissan dealership for help.
Does it need to be reprogrammed after replacing a battery?

Welcome to nicothe remote snaps back together, use a little bit of force if necessary. But look at the edges, it kinda goes tip first. It doesn't need to be reprogrammed. And most dealers will do the replacement for you as a courtesy.

dont be embarrassed at all.. when i first changed my battery i was scarde i was going to break it... cause it doesnt just snapped together easy... make sure the top/tip is on (i almost broke the tip/top clip) then apply good pressure until it snapps... it really feels like you will break it... but it snapps back together
