Ok heres the rundown. My engine(s13 blacktop) had been running really well up untiltwo days ago. When i got home I noticed a bit if a idle fluctuation. The next morning I got up and went to work and it drove fine, then at lunch it developed a severe miss below4000 rpms, but when it get above 5000 it runs like a scalded dog.It also idles rough. So I got new plugs, didn't help. When I disconnect the maf it idles fine with a little miss when i rev it steadily.so i replaced the maf with three others,no dice i replaced the plug twice,NOTHING. ALSO WHEN I unplug the maf it idles fine for a sec the goes back to rough.i am lost i was thinking that it was a coilpack prob but i dont know>>

Try unplugging the coilpacks one by one to see if one is bad. If you pull one and there is not a noticeable change in idle then you know that is the culprit. You could also use a voltmeter and check the resistance between pin 1 and 2 on the coilpack. I believe per the FSM it should be 1 ohm. Might also want to dopuble check your timing (via FSM procedure) and your TPS voltage setting. And of course check all hoses/couplings for leaks.

When I went to start it this morning it was worse. It would start okay and go to high idle for about 2 secs and then idle low and sputter out.I can get it to run i just have to gas it alot even then it only idles at 500 or so with a severe miss It seems to me that whatever it is,its gettimg worse.....also i dont have any vaccum leak and i will test the ciolpacks...
