ok, i got 2 sets of 5 holes on my hood from where some *** hat put hood pins on. i figure bondo would be the easiest. any other ideas or things i should consider. i started trying bondo but i couldnt get it to fill the holes. it would just fall through

sorry if this is in the wrong spot.

bondo seems to crack. i think you have to weld the holes.

"Then use a body filler over that. But I do not suggest using "Bondo" There are much better body fillers out there on that I always use is called RAGE Extreme"

You would have to weld sheet metal to the under side of the hood and then use bondo or whatever body filler you choose to level the holes out with the hood. Normaly you would cut the metal to perfectly fit each hole then weld them in but most of those look like they would be too small for that.

best way and cleanest is to make a patch and weld a pin the patch to hold why u weld it on. To make it cleaner and less work with body filler, you should leave a little bit of space from the patch and the hood so when u weld ur fusing the patch together. That and u'll waste less time and money trying to sand, feather it out.
