Recently I discovered that my fuel injector on cylinder 4 was leaking. Found out the pintle cap was cracked, so i ordered some new ones. Got them in today and put everything back together with new caps and orings on all 4 injectors, and when i fired it up it ran perfect. It idled smooth, so I took it out for a drive. After a few minutes it started back with its bucking issue. Went and got new oil and some new spark plugs while I was at it. Got home and removed the old plugs, and cylinder 2 was fouled this time. It's also good to note that while I was waiting on the pintle caps, I cleaned and regapped all 4 plugs. So the only thing that it could be is a stuck open injector, right? So now I am looking for a new injector. I'm not made of money, so the most cost effective solution would be best.

So now the main question, which other injectors work? The parts guide that is stickied in this forum says 95 300zx TT injectors, but I've read other sources that say the N/A injectors. If it's the N/A injectors, will J30 injectors work since they're virtually the same motor? Any help is appreciated. If j30 injectors will in fact work I'll be able to go to a local junkyard and get them quicker, putting me back on the road quicker. Thanks!

Verify that the injector is 370cc. The TT z32 300zx ones are 370cc. I personally purchased 4 brand new injectors from Deatschwerks when i got my SR. They cost about $360 brand new and have a good warranty. These are their brand new line of injectors, none of that re-drilled crap. They even come with a flow report.

Thanks OM3GA,

The 95-96 300ZX TT have the same injectors as the SR20DET.

Also, the later model Q45s did as well. Just make sure if you go junkyard shopping, the injectors you pull out are Phase-II injectors. The Phase-I injectors won't install correctly in the SR20s and KAs.

...also, you'll want to have them checked out, as you don't know how long they've been sitting idle. Injectors don't like to sit inoperable for long periods of time after they've had fuel flowed through them.

Sometimes, the best bet is to pick up a set of new injectors like OM3GA did...sure it might cost a little more upfront, but will save you some tail-chasing in the future.
