Im at 127.2k miles and front end feels loose so does rear end, checked out the front tierod ends and they move back and fourth - worn out, and my steering wheel shakes side to side when braking or driving faster.

So its that time to replace all bushings, balljoints, sway bar links etc...

I know a couple of you have already done most of this as your at a higher mileage then me or yours wore out faster but id like some input on any kits available (AKA like a whole front end ball joint, tie rod, etc set or if its cheaper to buy all seperate works also.

I'd like polyurethane stuff for bushings etc if they arent overly expensive over oem parts.

Basically if anyone can point me in the right direction of all the parts i need, what bolts will need replacing, and what surprises anyone has run into ( i've read people needed to cut the bolts for the trailing arms in order to do the bushings and stuff ).

I want the best stuff available, but if theres nothing better aftermarket for certain parts, stock parts will do.

I also want to do this all in one shot, so lets say maybe my sway bar links arent 100% worn yet, i rather replace it all when i have it apart, rather then take it apart again in 5000 miles.

Heres some pics i took of the front end of things i think need replacing but let me know if they dont:

( dont mind the surface rust, im repainting all that stuff by end of novemeber / mid decemeber )

Many thanks in advance to everyone that helps me out :)

I don't really see much listed for the Pathfinder as far as poly urethane bushings, I would go with OEM replacement or Moog where available.

I have been iffy about the quality of replacement parts as lots of the american companies are sourcing them from China now- not to say they don't work at all, but they have very varied lifespans.

4x4parts.com has a poly bushing + bolts set. I did it a month or so ago. It's not for the faint of heart. It was probably about 10 hours.

On the rear trailing links, the bolts and nuts need to be replaced when they are removed, even if you don't have to cut them
Of the eight bolts back there, I got seven off without cutting (Ingersol-Rand 1000 ft lb impact wrench).

Yeah im used to those unexpected things where you plan for 2 hours and turns into 6. Happened to me on my audi a4 replacing the front cv boots. Its probably like a 2 hour job, but they use these stupid things called pinch bolts and the job turned from 2 to about 8 hours of hammering, drilling, air hammering and torching lol.

I did my trailing arms in 3 hours, all my bolts came out just fine. I spent most of my time figuring out how to get the new bushings in lol

I would go with Moog balljoints, oem sway bar end links, 4x4parts for the bushings and bolts.

I dont know anything about tie rods nor have I changed mine though
