a friend of mine gave me a Q45 lsd and he gave they are 6 bolt and the 240 i believe has 5 not surei have a 89 240sx so he gave me these rings like spacers and he set them up to bolt on the diff then bolt straight on the axels.. ive never done a swap on the diff so is he right will it work
The flanges will need to be the 3 sets of 2 otherwise you will need to replace them.97-01 Q45 diffs with 92-94 J30 axles would fit S13/S14
i looked the little spacers do fit the diff they have 6 bolts and next to there holes are the 3 sets of 2 that he drilled in he says i should beable to bolt it straght up with that and get the oil and thats itand that elimenates the finding of the axels to go with it. i mean the idea is smart u noe but its sum ghetto **** and ive never seen it done before , i mean i know it is a lsd and the spacers things do fit except we all know that a diff isnt suposed to have spacers so is the Q45 diff that i have has shorter arms therfor the spacers will make it fit correctly?
He made some kind of 5bolt to 6 bolt adapter spacers? I honestly cannot imagine how that could work.... I guess similar to bolt on wheel spacers? I wouldn't trust them.
SO IN ALL CAN U GUYS HELP ME TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK ABOUT THIS
