Need Help With Dash Removal

I need to change out the lights on the instrument panel but dont know how to get to it. can some one show some pics or vid on how to change it.

I believe it's fairly easy. You can just remove the two finisher screws on the top of the trim that surrounds the instrument cluster. Pull the trim forward, towards you. You will then see four screws around the instrument cluster, you can remove those screws and then pull out the cluster. There are four wiring harnesses plugged into the cluster, one uses a thin ribbon cable, so you want to be very careful when unplugging that harness.

You may have to remove the lower finisher panel to pull out the trim around the cluster. This is the trim under the steering wheel where your dimmer switch and change drawer are.

you don't have to unplug the harnesses. There is enough play on the wires to be able to twist and turn it to get to the lights. The trim is a little tricky to get out. I always have trouble with it. There are a few posts on here about how to remove it and which lights are the ones you need to change.

yeah you have to turn the trim piece towards you and bend it in the middle and just shove it out

i was able to change bulbs without removing harnesses

Be very careful removing those 4 screws around the cluster, ive had two fall in the holes already!

do you guys know what type of bulb I need. I would like to have blue LED on the intrument panel. It looks Sik

#74's but the blue makes the red look like crap. And then like 4 months in one of the LED's started flickering so I changed em back. but hey go for it.
