Need help with clutch problem. I think!!

I have a 89 MT 240sx all stock. I bought it not runnig from my friend which he bought it not running off of another guy. well anyways battery is dead, so i go to jump car. i let the battery charge a lil bit before i go to start. i push the clutch in and i got nothin...no clicks or anything, then also i let the clutch out and the pedal came out slow. any advice? please help

bleed the clutch for that pedal slopping problem.

and make sure to check your neutral safety switch. maybe that is not contacting and setting the switch off.

where exactly is the neutral safety switch located?. thanks for the info i'll try it tomorrow
