Hey, so i just went and took an emissions test and failed.

The only thing i failed was the CO % at idle. The limit is 1.2 and i got 1.62.

My carbon canister (by the intake, bottom right KAE) is completely unhooked, the three vacuum lines cut.

First, where do these 3 lines go? Second, should this help me pass emissions?

Thanks

i kno the small vacuum hose runs on top of the rad and theres little nipples under the throttle body that they hook into. i just had to replace my hose and the others from dry rot as for the other 2 hoses i can check for you tomorrow since ill be doin a lil more work

oh and i doubt the cos are high because of that, my last car i removed my carbon canister and it didnt affect my emissions at all. you might need a new cat, but you can also advance and retard the timing a lil to burn up a lil more co id suggest that since yours isnt off by much, instead of spenin big bucks for a new cat

if that for some reason doesn't solve it, check your idle: you may be idling too high. in that case, you should clean your MAF. i have some maf cleanser fluid

johnny - thanks man. could you take pic of where the hoses go? that would be awesome. do you have single or dual cam?

i had my idle set to about 1000 so i dont think messing with the idle will make me pass. im pretty sure its the carbon canister because its there for a reason and its not hooked up at all.

cleaning my MAF is always a good idea on a 200k+ mileage car.
